It’s been a busy summer, with lots of interesting jobs, and a fair few bits of interesting publication - online, internationally and nationally. A few of the more interesting for me, though…
First off, possibly the most interesting job of the year so far for me: Reiach and Hall Architects’ new Dundee House offices for the council of that fine city. A beautiful - and very large! - project to spend time photographing, and one which was featured in an extensive article, and the cover of, the Architects’ Journal in July.
Only last week, I received a very interesting job from Building Design magazine, taking photographs to accompany Malcolm Fraser’s review of Gareth Hoskin’s recent refurbishment of the fantastic National Museum of Scotland. In the end I had only 24 hours to photograph, process and issue all my shots, which was quite the challenge! Still, thanks to the large physical size of Building Design’s pages, they’ve probably made the biggest prints of my photos to date.

And finally, the house extension photographs I took earlier in the year for my former colleague, award-winner and generally splendid architect Craig Amy are published in October’s Homebuilding and Renovating magazine.
